Project scope and objectives
E Taylor Contracting & Consultants approached this project with a clear objective: create a modern, conversion-focused website that accurately reflected the scale, reliability, and professionalism of their nationwide operations. The existing online presence did not clearly communicate the breadth of services, regional coverage, or the company’s long-term approach to plant hire, demolition, and civil engineering.
The primary goal was clarity. Contractors and commercial clients needed to understand, within seconds, what ETC does, where they operate, and how to get in touch without friction.

The website was deliberately structured to guide users through a logical decision-making journey.
The homepage was designed to immediately establish trust, highlight nationwide coverage, and surface core services above the fold. From there, content flows into clearly separated service sections, allowing users to self-identify their needs without confusion or unnecessary navigation.
Dedicated service pages were structured to support both search visibility and user intent, using clear headings, concise explanations, and supporting imagery. Location-based content was integrated to strengthen geographic relevance while maintaining a clean, professional tone.

Framer’s component-based structure made it possible to maintain consistency across pages while keeping the site flexible for future updates, additional services, or regional expansion.
From an SEO and generative engine optimisation perspective, the build prioritised clean structure, semantic headings, and content clarity, supporting discoverability across traditional search engines and AI-driven platforms.
